All photographs are there to remind us of what we forget. In this - as in other ways - they are the opposite of paintings. Paintings record what the painter remembers. Because each one of us forgets different things, a photo more than a painting may change its meaning according to who is looking at it. ~John Berger

Joe Schultz & Nick Wheeler

REAL

Nick and Joe teamed up to create REAL: Real Excited About Learning! Their program is high-energy and focuses on the senior experience, with heavy emphasis on posing and lighting. They will be photographing a live model to give you the best example of how they work.
Nick is Co/Owner of Once upon a Lifetime Photography, a family studio, in Mt.Vernon, IL. Nick first picked up a camera at age 19, now at age 28 he has taken over the Senior photography at OLP and has tripled the number of Seniors photographed each year while raising their Senior sales average from $500 to $1150!!!

Joe and his wife Kelly own and operate Duree by Schulz Studio in Ottumwa, IA. Their studio was built 5 years ago and sits on 12 acres. Joe has been photographing for over 15 years and enjoys the fact that he only photographs from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. while maintaining a $1200 average with his Seniors!!! Monday through Friday... family is his number one priority!

Nick and Joe both give credit for their success to their faith and from creating the ultimate experience with each and every client that comes in the door!
