Bob has served all offices of the Associated Professional Photographers of Illinois, President 1986-87, President of Southern Illinois Art League and Executive Secretary for 15 years, PPA Convention Chairman 1994 & 1995, PPA Board of Directors 1995 – 2006, PPA President 2003 – 2005. He currently teaches many subjects including Photoshop, Retouching and print finishing, Studio management, Studio Operations, Posing, lighting – basic photography, and Aerial photography.

From the time she was a child Sarah Petty knew she wanted to own her own business. After earning her MBA from The University of Illinois, she taught marketing and business courses at a local college. She started in the marketing department of Coca-Cola, and eventually became the marketing director for a top Central Illinois advertising agency. After spending many years teaching other business owners how to market and grow their businesses, the time was right for her to launch her own business. Sarah Petty Photography was born. After experiencing tremendous growth in her business and receiving 6 PPA AN-NE awards, Sarah now enjoys teaching marketing to other photographers to help them make more money. Sarah?s marketing program called CafГ© Joy has recently receive the 2009 PPA Hot One Award given to the hottest new products of the year.
