As the postman has been bringing the mountain of renewal forms to me, I've sometimes felt a bit overwhelmed. Today, I was very pleasantly surprised. One of the envelopes had in the upper corner the stamps that you see below. It was from Al Parkhill and on the form he wrote, "Dear Wayne - Notice the stamps I acquired years back. Maybe one of the members is a collector."
I remember - when I was a little kid - postage being 15 cents. Al has been interested in photography since well before I was born. It kind of made it sink in for me how much knowledge there is in this organization.
Also in the category of "Things That Make You Go Hmm?," he continued, "Can you imagine the whole world without photography?"
